Eligible expenditures: bus transportation, outdoor project materials, field trip leader or program fees. (apply by Feb 15 or Sept 15) Imagineaction - $500 and $750 subsidies available for school community social action projects! (apply by Nov 7) WWF Green CommUnity School Grants - Grants of up to $5,000 each will be made to approximately 50 schools per year, across 5 regions in Canada: North, West, Central, Quebec and Atlantic. (apply by Oct 17) Tire Stewardship BC Community Grant Program - provides financial support to communities who have decided to use and benefit from a wide range of recycled tire products in their projects. (apply by Nov 4) TD Friends of the Environment Foundation - funds projects that protect the environment and Canadian wildlife, assist young Canadians in understanding and participating in environmental activities, and enhance cooperation among Environmental organizations. (continual application process) Toyota Evergreen Learning Grounds School Ground Greening Grants - helps schools create outdoor classrooms to provide students with a healthy place to play, learn and develop a genuine respect for nature. (4 application deadlines/year) Project FLOW - All projects must be conducted in Canada, and engage elementary and secondary students in action that impacts positively on a local water-issue; additionally, the proposal must clearly state how the identified issue will be addressed through action.
